Check out this wonderful ensemble from the Baltimore area. They play Baroque and earlier music on period instruments with great improvisations.
You are invited to the final TEMPO presentation of early music this season, on Saturday, June 12th, 7 pm at First Presbyterian Church in Durham (305 E. Main Street).
HARMONIOUS BLACKSMITH Early Music Ensemble will offer a program of French music entitled “L’amour et la Mort,” (Love and Death in Early French Music).
The five-member ensemble includes Joe Gascho on harpsichord, Justin Godoy on recorders, John Lenti on lute and theorbo, Josh Lee on viola da gamba, and Linda Tsatsanis, soprano.
Admission is $15 general, $10 seniors and students, with discounts for members of First Presbyterian Church. Cash or check only accepted at the door, please.
